The Rotary Club of Hilo Bay (RCHB) announces a Request for Proposals (RFP) from any 501(c) (3) organization serving East Hawaii.

The maximum funding award for this RFP is set at $576.00
The agency needs to provide a press release (approved by the RCHB) as well as photos, after the event.  RCHB may assist with the release, but it must be initiated by the agency. Proposal Requirements
Application Form: Please complete the attached application. Do not submit more than two additional pages.  If more information is needed the review committee will reach out to the organization.
Organization: Describe your organization, its primary mission, and its history of service to the East Hawaii community and Hawaii Island. Describe your project and the importance of its completion. Also provide a brief budget on the funding required and use of funds.
Explain how the grant award will be used in direct program service for the poor and needy, whom your agency serves.  Projects that are not yet providing direct service to the poor and needy and appear to be capital projects or capital improvements will not be approved.  Please give details regarding this financial assistance to your poor and needy, as much information as you can include will be helpful.  If you are a newly organized non-profit agency please explain your mission as well, or attach your information.
Deadline: Proposals must be received by email no later than July 14, 2020 by 5 p.m.  Proposals received after that will not be considered.  Please email proposals to Chester Cabral, RCHB Grants Chair, chester.cabral@gmail.com.
 
Additional Information
After Selection:  If approved additional requirements for the grant will need to be submitted, a listing will be provided to you, these include the most recent audited financial statements, By-laws, Charter or Articles of Incorporation, Board of Directors' names and contact information, etc.
Media Outreach: The selected organization, under requirements of the grant, needs to try to get the press to the project if at all possible.
